Have you ever wanted to give back to your fellow HR colleagues? Well, here's your chance! Through volunteering with CAPHRA, you can help decide what topics are offered at our monthly program meetings, which community service events we will participate in, how the recognition program will run, and even what meal will be served at our holiday social. If you've enjoyed participating in CAPHRA events and attending programs in the past, you're the perfect person to serve on a committee. It is through the committees that the "real" work of the organization is done, so please take a minute to sign up for a committee that interests you.

Program Committee

This committee is responsible for all aspects of the monthly CAPHRA program meetings and the annual Spring Conference. Members of this committee generate ideas for program topics, contact speakers, make facility arrangements, prepare announcements, and handle registration on the day of the event. Recognition and Scholarship Committee

This committee coordinates CAPHRA’s annual scholarship and recognition program. For more information about the scholarship/recognition program or to volunteer to serve on this committee, please contact Jonathan Brown at jonabrown@pa.gov.

Nominations Committee

This committee, chaired by the President-Elect, is responsible for identifying and contacting CAPHRA members to run for board positions in the upcoming program year. The committee also assembles the election ballot and counts the votes. To serve on this committee or if you would like to run for a board position, please contact Mark Gottdiner at markgottdi@pa.gov.
